The Heyne lab consists of a highly dynamic team of undergraduate students, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows from all over Canada and abroad, led by Dr. Belinda Heyne.

The research conducted at the Laboratory for Photosciences, University of Calgary (Alberta, Canada) is highly multidisciplinary, combining photochemistry and nanomaterials to create innovative solutions.

Our spacious and modern research laboratory is equipped with a range of equipment from spectrophotometers (UV-vis, fluorescence, time-resolved emission, laser flash photolysis setup, direct detection of singlet oxygen), to all the general necessary equipment for organic synthesis and purification.
